Code of Conduct
The International Congress of Roman Frontier Studies (Limes Congress – Morocco) is committed to providing a respectful, safe, and inclusive environment that reflects the values of academic dialogue, integrity, and mutual respect.
No form of harassment or discrimination will be tolerated on the basis of gender, gender identity, age, nationality, ethnicity, religion, disability, or any other personal characteristic. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to, offensive or derogatory remarks, intimidating or threatening behaviour, unwanted physical contact, photography or recording without consent, and any disruption of scientific activities.
This Code of Conduct applies to all congress venues and activities, including scientific sessions, workshops, field excursions, and social events organised as part of the Congress.
Any participant whose behaviour violates these principles may be subject to a warning or immediate removal from the Congress without refund.
Any person who experiences or witnesses inappropriate behaviour is encouraged to contact a member of the Organizing Committee immediately. The Organizing Committee will make every reasonable effort to ensure a safe environment and to provide appropriate assistance, including coordination with relevant authorities or support services when necessary.
The Limes Congress thanks all participants for their contribution to upholding these principles and fostering a productive and respectful atmosphere for scholarly exchange.
